Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Zinc Anode with Stainless Steel Slotted Head Anodes/Zincs

Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Zinc Anodes are sacrificial propeller shaft anodes (also called shaft zincs) that protect your boat's shafting and underwater metals from galvanic corrosion and electrolysis. The anode corrodes in place of the metal parts around it. Zinc is the right material for saltwater use. The streamlined profile helps keep drag low, and the slotted stainless steel hardware makes installation straightforward.

Key Features:

• Zinc alloy construction for sacrificial corrosion protection in saltwater
• Mil-spec alloy: made to the MIL-A-18001 standard for sacrificial anodes
• Streamlined, circular profile to minimize drag on the shaft
• Interlocking halves that clamp around the shaft and are secured with slotted-head machine screws
• Stainless steel slotted hardware with extra alloy around the fasteners
• Easy to install with common hand tools

Replace the anode once it has eroded to about 70% of its original size so the protection stays effective. Martyr anodes are a common choice for boat owners who want dependable corrosion protection for the propeller shaft and drive components. Choose the correct size option for your shaft.
