Groco Bronze Full Flow Pipe-to-Hose Adapter with NPT Thread

The Groco Bronze Full Flow Pipe-to-Hose Adapter with NPT thread, also called a bronze pipe-to-hose fitting or hose barb adapter, connects a hose to a valve, seacock, strainer or other hardware with female NPT pipe threads. The male NPT end threads into the hardware. The barbed end accepts the hose.

Key Features:

• Full flow design: The fitting is built to carry the full flow of its pipe size and gives an unrestricted passage through the fitting.
• Larger hose ID: A full-flow fitting needs a safe wall thickness, so its outside diameter is larger than the pipe size. That is why the matching hose ID is larger than the pipe size.
• Cast bronze construction: The fittings are cast bronze for marine plumbing use.
• Cast-in hex nut: A hex is cast into the body so you can tighten it securely with a wrench.
• Male NPT x hose connection: The tapered pipe thread suits Groco seacocks, raw water strainers and other hardware with tapered female pipe threads.
• Multiple configurations: The line includes straight fittings and 90-degree elbow fittings.

These fittings are not intended for potable water systems. For best sealing, use them on tapered NPT threads with a suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape.
