Groco Bronze Pipe-To-Hose Adapter with NPT Thread

Groco bronze pipe-to-hose adapters (also called pipe-to-hose fittings or NPT hose barb adapters) connect a hose to a seacock, valve, raw water strainer, or any hardware with female NPT pipe threads. Each fitting has a male NPT thread on one end and a hose connection on the other. This gives marine plumbing runs a secure transition from rigid pipe to flexible hose.

Key Features:

• Cast bronze construction made from C83600 bronze for durability in marine environments
• Male NPT thread for use with tapered female pipe threads on seacocks, strainers, and valves
• Cast-in hex nut for secure wrench tightening
• Full flow and standard flow designs in the product line. Full flow fittings are designed to give unrestricted passage at the full pipe size
• UL Listed 647B

Important: C83600 bronze fittings do not comply with NSF-61 and are not intended for use in potable water systems.

For best results, use the fittings with NPT (tapered) pipe threads. Use on NPS (straight) threads only in low-pressure applications, with a generous amount of pipe sealant or PTFE thread tape. Groco has a long reputation in marine plumbing. These adapters suit boat owners and installers who want dependable bronze hardware for raw water, bilge, and other non-potable hose connections.
