Product Details

Shields Hose Type A2 marine fuel fill hose connects your boat's deck fill to the fuel tank. It is also sold for tank vent lines. The Fire-Acol construction is built to resist gasoline and alcohol blends. It also handles diesel, so it suits pleasure boat fuel fill and vent plumbing.

Key Features:

  • Ethanol-blend resistant: Designed to withstand prolonged exposure to gasoline/alcohol blended fuels that stay in the fill hose after fueling.
  • Low permeation: Compounded to keep fuel permeation low.
  • Fire retardant: Premium quality fire-retardant marine fuel hose construction.
  • Reinforced: Wire helix is embedded between plies of heavy-duty synthetic cord for strength and flexibility. This applies to the 350 and 355 series.
  • Durable: Abrasion resistant, with a UV and weather resistant cover.
  • Flexible routing: Makes tight radius bends for installation in tight spaces.
  • Standards: Meets SAE J1527 Type A2 and ISO 7840 Type A2, and is NMMA/CE type accepted.

Type A2 hose is designed for fill and vent applications where fuel is not continuously in the hose. Use it for pleasure boat fuel fill and vent lines. It is not intended for continuous fuel feed service.
