Dexter Axle Electric Brake Assembly Side

Dexter Axle electric brake assemblies provide dependable, controlled stopping power for trailers, campers, RVs, and utility and equipment haulers. Each assembly is a complete electric trailer brake, also called an electric drum brake or trailer brake assembly. It combines the backing plate, brake shoes, magnet, and related hardware, and it works with your trailer's electric brake controller.

Key Features:

• Electric actuation: An electromagnet engages the brake shoes when the controller sends current. This gives smooth, proportional braking that you can adjust to the load.
• Complete assembly: Built as a ready-to-install brake unit that bolts to the axle. It is designed to work with matching Dexter Axle components.
• Left and right side options: Offered in separate driver-side and passenger-side configurations so each wheel end gets the correct brake.
• Durable construction: Engineered for repeated use and the demands of towing.
• Trusted brand: Dexter Axle is a long-established name in trailer axles, brakes, and running gear, and many trailer manufacturers use its parts as original equipment.

Choose the assembly that matches your axle's brake size and the side of the trailer you are servicing. Replacing worn brakes in pairs across the axle helps keep braking even and predictable.
