Equalizer Adjustable Ball Mount Shank Drop Rise Ground Effects Kit

The Equalizer adjustable shank (also called an adjustable ball mount shank or weight distribution hitch shank) slides into your vehicle's receiver. It is the attachment point for the head assembly of an Equal-i-zer weight distribution system. You can set it to drop or rise, so you can level your trailer with your tow vehicle.

Rise and drop are measured from the inside top of the receiver opening to the base of the hitch ball. Adjusting the shank helps keep the trailer level, which improves towing stability and weight distribution.
