Forespar Marelon Male Elbow Pipe Fitting

The Forespar Marelon Male Elbow Pipe Fitting is a 90-degree male elbow adapter, also called a male pipe to hose barb elbow or hose tailpipe connector. It joins hose to a threaded marine fitting, valve or through-hull and turns the line at a right angle. This keeps hose runs tidy in tight boat plumbing spaces.

Key Features:

• Molded from high-strength, glass-reinforced Marelon, a marine-grade composite that resists corrosion
• Suitable for use above and below the waterline
• Straight (NPSM parallel) pipe threads, sealed with thread compound or PTFE tape. Straight threads are not designed to mate with tapered NPT threads.
• Works with metal marine valves and fittings that have parallel pipe threads
• Installs with the same techniques and materials used for bronze fittings
• Hose-barb end for secure hose connections

Forespar's Marelon line is popular with boat builders. It is a durable, lightweight alternative to metal fittings for raw water, bilge, livewell, washdown and other marine plumbing. Marelon will not corrode, and it is UV stabilized. Choose the correct pipe thread and hose size for your application.
