Forespar Marelon Female Elbow Pipe Fitting

The Forespar Marelon female elbow pipe fitting is a 90° pipe-to-hose adapter (also called a female pipe to hose barb elbow). It connects a hose to a female-threaded marine plumbing connection. It suits cockpit drains, raw water lines, and other onboard plumbing. It works with any metal marine valve or fitting that has NP parallel threads.

Key Features:

• Marelon construction: molded from high-strength, glass-reinforced Marelon, a proprietary composite polymer made for marine use
• Corrosion-free: Marelon does not corrode
• Above and below the waterline: designed for use in either location
• UV stabilized: it will not freeze or become brittle with age or temperature extremes
• NPSM threads: straight (parallel) female threads, sealed with thread compound or PTFE tape
• Approvals: U.L. and A.B.Y.C. approved
• Easy installation: install it with the same techniques and materials you would use for bronze fittings

Marelon fittings are popular with many boat builders worldwide. Forespar makes them as a lightweight, long-lasting alternative to metal plumbing fittings.
