WIX Racing Filters High Performance Oil Filters are spin-on racing oil filters built to protect high-output engines. They are made for competition use, where oil pressure, heat and vibration are far more demanding than on the street. The line gives racers a dependable engine oil filter that traps harmful contaminants without restricting oil flow. WIX is also the only filter brand officially licensed by NASCAR.

• Racing-grade filter media: Glass-enhanced media captures dirt particles while keeping oil flowing to the engine. Depending on the part, the media is either Advanced Performance (T-10) or High Efficiency Endurance (T-71). The T-71 media has a higher resin content to trap and hold smaller contaminants.
• Heavy-walled can and cover: Built to withstand extreme burst pressures of up to 500 psi.
• Spiral-wound steel center tube: Provides increased collapse strength and an improved flow pattern.
• High-temperature nitrile baseplate gasket: Resists racing temperatures up to 300°F for a positive, leak-resistant seal.
• Zinc chromate-plated baseplate: Corrosion-resistant with low surface friction for easier installation and removal.
• Metal end caps: Add element strength and help prevent filter bypass.
