Seachoice Streamlined Shaft Anode Magnesium Model Anodes/Zincs

Seachoice Streamlined Shaft Anodes in magnesium help protect your boat's propeller shaft and nearby submerged metal parts from galvanic corrosion. They are also sold as shaft zincs or sacrificial anodes. The streamlined profile fits onto the propeller shaft and is designed to cut drag and turbulence in the water.

Key Features:

• Magnesium construction: Magnesium is the usual anode choice for freshwater boating. It is more active than zinc or aluminum, so it protects well where water conductivity is low.
• Sacrificial corrosion protection: The anode corrodes in place of your shaft, propeller and other underwater metals.
• Streamlined design: The shape helps water flow past the shaft with less drag.
• Shaft-mounted: It installs directly on the propeller shaft and can be replaced when worn.

Inspect shaft anodes regularly and replace them once they have eroded significantly. A fresh anode keeps your underwater hardware protected. Seachoice supplies marine hardware and boating accessories for recreational boaters, and this magnesium shaft anode line is available in multiple sizes to suit different shaft diameters.
