Solas Intake Grate for Personal Watercraft

The Solas intake grate is a replacement and performance upgrade for jet ski and personal watercraft (PWC) pumps. It is also sold as a jet pump intake grate or ride plate grate. It mounts on the underside of the hull ahead of the impeller. It guides water into the jet pump and keeps debris out. Solas makes it for a range of Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda and Polaris watercraft.

Key Features:

• Airfoil design: the foil section lets more water flow steadily into the pump.
• Reduced cavitation: smoother water delivery to the impeller helps limit cavitation.
• Better hook-up: the design improves grip in turns and in rough or choppy water.
• Durable construction: cast aluminum with an epoxy powder coat resists corrosion and abrasion in marine use.
• Direct replacement: it replaces a worn or damaged grate and helps protect the pump.

Solas is known for PWC impellers, jet pump components and accessories. Its intake grates are built to improve water flow, hook-up and handling, and they work well alongside a Solas impeller.
