Seastar Solutions Rack Steering Cable Back Mount

The SeaStar Solutions Back Mount Rack Steering Cable is a mechanical rack and pinion marine steering cable. It is a replacement for the original back mount "The Rack" single-cable steering cable installed by the boat manufacturer. SeaStar Solutions was formerly Teleflex Marine. The brand is known for its steering design, technology and materials.

Key Features:

• Rack and pinion design suits a range of helm space and application needs
• Stainless steel cable output ends resist corrosion and add durability
• Back mount design installs from behind the dash
• Replaces 1996-and-newer SeaStar Solutions/Teleflex back mount rack cables with a black cable cover
• Works with SeaStar back mount rack helms, including standard and No-Feedback (NFB) versions
• Meets or exceeds ABYC safety standards and ISO, IMCI and NMMA certification requirements
• Designed and assembled in the USA

Application Notes: This cable is for single-station, single-cable use only. It is not a replacement for the older 1984-1996 "The Rack" cable. That system uses the SSC124xx series. Choose the cable length that matches your original installation.

This steering cable is a dependable choice for sterndrive, inboard and other power-assisted steering setups. It gives precise four-turn lock-to-lock steering.
