Whitecap Industries Gas Spring Black Nitrate

Whitecap Industries Black Nitrate Gas Springs are marine-grade lift supports. They hold up and control the movement of hatches, lids, compartment doors, and access panels on boats and in other hardware applications. The line is also known as gas struts, lift supports, or gas props. It gives smooth, controlled lifting and holding force, so heavy covers open easily and stay open.

Key Features:

• Black nitrate construction: The heavy-duty steel body has a heat-cured black coating for durability and corrosion resistance.
• Marine-grade materials: Built for durability and longevity in demanding environments.
• Consistent dimensions: Each model has a 6 mm or 8 mm rod and a matching tube. Each is rated by its P1 force.
• Easy installation: Designed for quick and simple mounting.
• Range of lengths and force ratings: The line covers many extended lengths and lifting forces, so you can match the spring to your hatch or lid.
