Mirka Galaxy PSA Sanding Discs Grit

Mirka Galaxy PSA sanding discs (also called self-adhesive or stickyback ceramic sanding discs) are premium abrasives for professional sanding. They are made for automotive refinishing, collision repair, marine, composite and wood work. The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing attaches to a compatible smooth PSA sanding pad without a hook-and-loop interface.

Key Features:

• Self-sharpening ceramic grain: The blue ceramic grains break down to form new cutting edges as they wear. This keeps the cut consistent and extends abrasive life.
• Fast cut and long life: Galaxy combines aggressive stock removal with durable performance, and it polishes out easily in the finer grits.
• Clog-resistant coating: A dust-repellent stearate coating helps keep the abrasive surface open. This reduces loading and supports efficient dust extraction.
• Tough film backing: The durable polyester film backing gives excellent edge wear resistance.
• PSA attachment: The self-adhesive backing gives secure, flat placement on the sanding pad.
• Multi-purpose: Suitable for soft and hard materials and a range of substrates, including filler, primer, epoxy, fiberglass, gelcoat, wood and metal.

Mirka is a respected name in surface finishing. Galaxy PSA discs give body shops, boat builders and woodworkers consistent finishing results with fewer disc changes.
