Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anode with Stainless Steel Allen Head Zinc Anodes/Zincs

Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anodes are zinc sacrificial anodes. They protect propeller shafts and props from galvanic corrosion, and the zinc alloy suits saltwater use. The streamlined, collar-style shaft zinc has a stainless steel Allen head screw. This makes it easy to fit and remove when you replace your shaft zincs.

Key Features:

• Zinc alloy construction: Zinc alloy sacrificial anodes are a good choice for saltwater, where they corrode in place of your shaft, prop and other underwater metals.
• Stainless steel Allen head hardware: The Allen screw lets you install or replace the anode with simple hand tools.
• Locking hardware: The anode comes with lock washers and bolt-retaining washers. These help keep the hardware from loosening or falling off after installation.
• Streamlined profile: The low-drag shape fits closely around the shaft and helps limit turbulence behind the strut.
• Underwater installation: You can fit the anode without hauling the boat out.

Check your shaft anodes regularly. Replace them once they are about 70% eroded, so the shaft and prop stay protected. Martyr Anodes are available in a range of sizes to match different shaft diameters.
