Martyr Anodes Yamaha Outboard Anode Kit Magnesium

Martyr Anodes Yamaha outboard anode kits in magnesium give your outboard sacrificial protection against galvanic corrosion. Magnesium is the right choice for boats used only in fresh water, such as lakes and rivers. Each kit is a replacement anode set for Yamaha outboard engines. Instead of the engine's metal parts corroding, the anodes corrode.

Key Features:

• Magnesium alloy: Made for fresh water use only. Magnesium corrodes too quickly in brackish or salt water.
• Cadmium-free: Martyr magnesium alloy anodes do not contain cadmium, a substance of environmental concern.
• Built to U.S. Military specifications: Martyr anodes meet U.S. military alloy specifications and are tested in the manufacturer's in-house facility.
• Complete kit: Each kit has the anodes for its engine application, such as bracket, skeg, trim tab or lower unit anodes. It also comes with fastening hardware and installation instructions.
• Easy replacement: The kits replace the original Yamaha anodes and can be installed with common hand tools.

Martyr anodes are made by Canada Metal Pacific (CMP). Check your anodes regularly and replace them once they have corroded away. This keeps your Yamaha outboard protected in fresh water.
