Arco Starting & Charging Starter Drive Gear Starters - Inboard

Arco Starting & Charging starter drive gears are replacement pinion gears for marine inboard starters. They are also called starter drive gears or pinion drives. The drive gear engages the engine flywheel ring gear when you start the engine. Replacing a worn or chipped gear can restore reliable cranking without replacing the whole starter.

Key Features:

• Replacement drive gear made for Arco inboard starter models
• Restores positive engagement with the flywheel when starting
• Often cheaper than replacing a complete starter when the drive gear is the only worn part
• Backed by Arco's marine starting and charging product line

Arco designs its marine starters and components for long service life. Its starters are nickel-coated and/or epoxy-painted to resist corrosion, and they are sealed to limit water intrusion. Arco tests its armatures to withstand 50 times the 12-volt operating voltage. Select the child item that matches your starter's Arco part number and tooth count.
