Teleflex SeaStar TFXtreme Heavy Duty Control Cable Assembly Replacement Cables

The Teleflex SeaStar TFXtreme heavy duty control cable is a premium marine throttle and shift cable (also called a remote control cable or replacement control cable assembly). It is built for smooth, precise operation, even in long or complex cable routings. It suits outboard, sterndrive and inboard control systems.

Key Features:

• Splined, coated core: Ridges on the core give about 10 contact points. This keeps contact with the inner liner to a minimum, so the core moves easily with very little lost motion.
• Low freeplay and binding: The design reduces freeplay and binding compared with traditional control cables, which improves feel and response at the helm.
• Heavy-duty jacket: The heavy outer jacket is made for marine use. It is designed to resist UV and chemical exposure.
• Marine-grade hardware: The end fittings are built for corrosion resistance in the marine environment.
• Tighter tolerances: Closer tolerances give a more precise, responsive feel when you shift and throttle.
• Multiple lengths and series: The line covers a range of cable series and lengths so you can match your existing system. Check the series and length of your original cable when you choose a replacement.

Teleflex SeaStar cables have a long record in marine steering and control systems. The TFXtreme line is a dependable upgrade over standard cables when you replace worn, stiff or sticking throttle and shift cables.
