Greenfield Products IND Slip Ring Anchor

The Greenfield Products Slip Ring Anchor is a traditional fluke-style (Danforth-type) boat anchor with a sliding ring on the shaft for easy retrieval. It suits recreational boaters who want reliable holding power in moderate conditions on light to medium duty applications.

Key Features:

• Slip-ring retrieval: To release the anchor, back the boat directly over it. The ring slides to the crown and frees the anchor from the opposite direction.
• Fluke-type design: The proven fluke design gives strong tensile strength and holding power.
• Protective coating: The anchor is undercoated for adhesion, then coated in heavy plastisol. This helps protect boat finishes from scratches and abrasions during normal use.
• American-made quality: Greenfield is a family-owned U.S. manufacturer. It introduced the first PVC-coated anchor in 1962.
• Multiple options: The line comes in a range of weights and colors to match different boat sizes.

Setup Tips: Use anchor chain with steel fluke anchors. The chain adds the weight needed to keep the proper approach angle for setting the anchor. Fluke anchors need a scope of at least 5:1 (rope length to water depth) to set properly, and 7:1 is recommended.

Choose the Greenfield Slip Ring Anchor when you want a dependable, boat-friendly anchor that is simple to deploy and recover.
