Camp Zinc Metric Shaft Collar Plated Anodes/Zincs

Camp Zinc Metric Shaft Collar Anodes are sacrificial zinc anodes for metric-diameter propeller shafts. They help protect your boat's underwater metal parts from galvanic corrosion and electrolysis. Fit one around the shaft, and the zinc corrodes in place of the propeller, struts, bearings and other submerged metal. They are also sold as shaft zincs or collar anodes, and they are designed for saltwater use.

Key Features:

• Split collar design clamps around the shaft and is secured with stainless steel hardware
• Copper contact on each half gives a permanent electrical connection to the shaft
• Stainless steel nuts are pressed or cast into the collar so they stay in place during installation
• Allen head stainless steel screws are held captive by a washer, so they are less likely to fall off or get lost while you install the anode
• Zinc construction suits saltwater applications

A fresh collar anode on the shaft gives your running gear dependable galvanic protection. Check it regularly and replace it once it has mostly worn away.
