Camp Zinc Donut Collar Anode Anodes/Zincs

Camp Zinc Donut Collar shaft anodes (also called donut collar zincs or shaft zincs) are sacrificial anodes. They protect boat propeller shafts and other submerged metal parts from galvanic corrosion in salt and brackish water. The donut shape suits installations where space on the shaft is limited, such as between the propeller and the strut or cutlass bearing.

Key Features:

• Sacrificial zinc construction: The zinc corrodes in place of the shaft and other oxidizable metals.
• Compact donut collar design: It fits tight spaces where clearance is limited.
• Copper contact: A copper contact gives the anode a permanent ground to the shaft.
• Clamp-on installation: The anode clamps onto a clean, unpainted section of the shaft.
• MIL-SPEC zinc: Marine zinc anodes are made to conform to Mil-A-18001.
• Made in the USA by Camp.

Installation Notes: Mount the anode on bare, clean metal. Do not paint the anode. After installing a new anode, check propeller clearance before you start the engine. Replace the anode as it wears down to keep the protection working.

Camp donut collar zincs are an affordable way to protect your drivetrain from corrosion. They come in a range of shaft sizes.
