Chicago Brand Wire Rope Clip Galvanized Malleable

Chicago Brand galvanized malleable wire rope clips (also called cable clips, wire rope clamps or U-bolt wire rope clips) are used to form secure terminations, loops and eyes in wire rope. They are a common choice for rigging, fencing, guy lines, marine and general utility applications that need a dependable, economical way to join or terminate cable.

Key Features:

• Malleable iron saddle for strength and durability
• Galvanized finish for corrosion resistance in outdoor and damp environments
• U-bolt style design that is simple to install with common hand tools
• Forms adjustable, reliable wire rope terminations
• Available in a range of sizes to match different wire rope diameters

For best results, install clips with the U-bolt on the dead (short) end of the rope and the saddle on the live (load-bearing) end. Follow the manufacturer's recommended number of clips and torque values for the rope diameter in use. Wire rope clips are not rated for overhead lifting unless the manufacturer's specifications say they are.
