Product Details

The Seastar Solutions Safe-T QC Rotary Steering Cable is a quick-connect replacement steering cable for mechanical rotary steering systems. It is also known as a Safe-T QC cable, SSC62 series cable, or Teleflex rotary steering cable. It gives boaters precise steering response, and the snap-in connection at the helm makes installation simple.

Key Features:

  • Quick-connect design: Snap-in cable ends connect to the helm without special tools.
  • Precise steering: A tightly controlled core-to-conduit fit gives responsive, accurate steering.
  • Durable jacket: The HDPE (high-density polyethylene) outer jacket resists abrasion and water penetration.
  • Corrosion-resistant ends: Stainless steel output ends hold up in marine environments.
  • Safety and certification: Cables exceed ABYC safety standards and ISO/IMCI/NMMA certification requirements.
  • Broad replacement coverage: The cable is designed to replace SSC62 cables used in Safe-T QC and NFB systems. It also replaces SSC72 cables used in Safe-T "TS" and Big-T systems.

Seastar Solutions, formerly Teleflex Marine, builds this cable for reliable, long-lasting steering performance. It suits boaters who are replacing a worn cable or refreshing an older steering system.
