Martyr Anodes Aluminum Trim Tab Anode for Mercury MerCruiser

Martyr Anodes Aluminum Trim Tab Anodes are sacrificial replacement anodes for Mercury and MerCruiser outboard and sterndrive trim tabs. The anode corrodes in place of the metal parts around it. This helps protect your drive from galvanic corrosion and electrolysis. Use them as a replacement trim tab anode or sacrificial zinc alternative.

Key Features:

• Aluminum alloy construction: Aluminum anodes are made for saltwater and brackish water. In brackish water they can outperform zinc, which can passivate and stop protecting.
• Lightweight and environmentally conscious: Aluminum is lighter than zinc and contains no cadmium.
• Bolt-on replacement design: The anode is a direct replacement for the original trim tab anode.
• Marine-grade quality: Martyr Anodes is a well-known marine corrosion protection brand.

Always check propeller clearance after installing a new trim tab anode. Inspect your anodes regularly and replace them once they are significantly eroded, so your drive keeps its corrosion protection.
