Teleflex TFXtreme OMC/Johnson/Evinrude Control Cable Replacement Cables

Teleflex TFXtreme OMC/Johnson/Evinrude control cables are premium, OEM direct-replacement throttle and shift cables (479-type). They are made for engines and controls that use the OMC-style snap-in cable connection. Because they use your existing connection components, they drop in as a replacement for the original cable. They suit outboard, stern drive and inboard installations.

Key Features:

• Patented TFXtreme splined core: Ridges on the core give a close fit with the inner liner but very little contact. The cable moves easily and has minimal lost motion.
• Tight bend radius: The 4-inch minimum bend radius is much tighter than the 8 inches of a standard cable. This helps on complex or long cable runs.
• Tough HDPE jacket: The 0.34-inch black HDPE jacket resists abrasion, UV, salt water, chemicals, gasoline and oil.
• Long-wearing liner: The HDPE liner is ultra smooth and lubricated for life.
• Corrosion-resistant hardware: Stainless steel terminals and brass fittings add protection in marine environments.
• Strong construction: Oil-tempered lay wires and moisture-protective seals add strength and extend service life.
• Performance feel: This is a good choice for foot throttle setups on performance and bass boats. It also gives any control lighter operation with less drag and wear.

Each cable is a direct replacement for original equipment control cables. It helps restore smooth, precise throttle and shift response, and it is built for marine use.
