Scanstrut Low Profile Cable Seal Stainless Steel

The Scanstrut Low Profile Cable Seal in stainless steel is a deck and roof cable gland, also called a cable pass-through or deck seal. It lets you route cables through a deck, cabin top or roof without messy sealant. It suits boats, camper vans and overlanding vehicles. The slim design sits low on the mounting surface, so the finished installation looks clean and flush.

Key Features:

• Marine-grade 316 stainless steel construction resists corrosion in harsh outdoor environments
• Low-profile design cuts mounting height by around 60 to 70 percent compared with Scanstrut's standard-height cable seals
• IP68 waterproof, tested and approved for outdoor use
• UV resistant
• Tapered bung forms a secure seal, and a closed-cell base seal helps keep the installation watertight
• Captive nuts simplify assembly and allow reliable repeat installations
• No sealant needed, which keeps the finish tidy and installation simple
• Installs with a hole saw, so the seal technology sits below the mounting surface

Scanstrut designs its products for outdoor use and tests them under its SCA (Safe, Certified, Approved) standard. This cable seal range suits solar panels, light bars, rooftop electronics and other wiring that has to pass through a deck or roof.
