Turning Point Propellers MasterGuard Super Duty Installation Kit Propeller Parts & Accessories

The Turning Point Propellers MasterGuard Super Duty Installation Kit (also called a propeller hub kit or installation/hub kit) is the 700 Series hub system for high horsepower outboards and sterndrives. It is made for 200+ HP engines running stainless steel propellers. These are applications where torque and driveline stress are highest.

Key Features:

• 700 Series Super Duty design for engines with 4.75" gearcases
• One-piece construction in durable marine bronze with over-molded glass-filled nylon for long service life
• Doubled internal bearing surface to improve hub strength and shock and stress absorption on high horsepower installations
• Reusable hub in most cases after a prop strike, so you may only need to replace the prop housing
• Enhanced lower unit protection for the driveline
• Lifetime Warranty Hub when used on 200+ HP engines with stainless steel propellers (consumer use; see manufacturer terms)
• Used with compatible Turning Point stainless steel and aluminum propeller housings, or compatible competitive housings

The MasterGuard system lets boaters replace just the prop housing after damage instead of the whole propeller. That can cut replacement cost considerably. Each kit includes a hub and the installation hardware that goes with it.
