Seastar Solutions Back Mount Rack Steering Cable

The Seastar Solutions Back Mount Rack Steering Cable (SSC134xx series) is a rack and pinion mechanical steering cable. It replaces the cable in Seastar Solutions and original Teleflex "The Rack" back mount steering systems. Seastar Solutions was formerly Teleflex Marine. The cable is built for single-station, single-cable installations. It suits boats with power-assisted sterndrive or outboard steering.

Key Features:

• Rack and pinion design that works with the back mount helm. The helm installs from behind the dash.
• Stainless steel cable output ends resist corrosion and add durability.
• Replaces 1996-and-newer back mount rack steering cables with the black cable cover. These include the original Teleflex back mount and single cable NFB rack steering cables.
• Works with the back mount rack helms, including the SH5210P and SH5230P.
• The same cable is included in the Seastar Complete Back Mount Rack System Kits SS141 and SS151.
• Meets ABYC safety standards and ISO, IMCI and NMMA certification requirements.
• Designed, manufactured and assembled in the USA at the Limerick, Pennsylvania facility.

This cable is for single-station, single-cable use only. Choose the cable length that matches your boat's steering run. A dual back mount rack cable (SSC135xx) is a separate product for boats that need a dual-cable setup.
