Camp Zinc Maxi-Prop Propeller Anode Anodes/Zincs

The Camp Zinc Maxi-Prop Propeller Anode is a sacrificial zinc anode (also called a propeller zinc) made to protect Maxi-Prop sailboat propellers from galvanic corrosion. The anode corrodes in place of the propeller and other submerged metal parts. This helps extend the life of your propeller in salt and brackish water.

Key Features:

• Zinc construction: Marine zinc anodes conform to the Mil-A-18001 standard.
• Made for Maxi-Prop propellers: Designed to fit Maxi-Prop propellers, with different anode versions for different propeller generations and shaft sizes.
• Made in the USA: Manufactured by Camp Company.
• Sacrificial protection: The anode wears away so the propeller doesn't.

Installation and Care:

• Check propeller blade clearance after installing the anode and before starting the engine.
• Do not paint the anode. Paint stops it from working.
• Inspect the anode often. Anodes in areas with cavitation wear out faster.

Replace the anode when it is mostly consumed to keep your propeller protected. Choose the correct version for your propeller year and shaft size.
