Teleflex SeaStar TFXtreme Gen II Mercury Control Cable Replacement Cables

The Teleflex SeaStar TFXtreme Gen II Mercury Control Cable is a marine shift and throttle cable. It is a replacement for Mercury, Mariner and MerCruiser cables on engines that use Mercury 4000 series controls. The cable has a splined-core design that gives smooth, easy movement with minimal lost motion. That makes it a good choice for long or complex cable runs and for foot throttle setups on performance and bass boats.

Key Features:

• Splined-core design: ridges on the inner core keep contact with the liner to a minimum. The core glides smoothly in both directions while keeping shifting and throttle response precise.
• Heavy-duty HDPE jacket: the high-density polyethylene outer casing resists abrasion, UV, salt water, oil, gasoline and other chemicals.
• Lubed-for-life liner: an ultra-smooth liner reduces drag and wear.
• Stainless steel and brass fittings: built for the marine environment.
• Drop-in replacement: the cable uses your existing connection components.
• Made to length: the cables come in 1-foot increments, so you can match the length your installation needs.

To pick the right length when replacing a cable, measure the old one from tip to tip and round up to the next foot. Check that your control box accepts Gen II Mercury cables before you order. This cable was formerly sold under the Teleflex Marine name and now comes from SeaStar Solutions.
