B & S Anodes Shaft Zinc Anode Anodes/Zincs

B & S Anodes Shaft Zinc Anodes are sacrificial zinc shaft anodes (also called shaft zincs, collar anodes or propeller shaft zincs). They protect the propeller shaft and other submerged metal parts on your boat from galvanic corrosion. In salt and brackish water, the zinc corrodes in place of your valuable underwater metals. This helps protect your shaft, strut, propeller and related hardware.

Key Features:

• Quality zinc construction: Made from zinc that meets Federal Specification MIL-A-18001K for marine sacrificial anodes.
• Streamline collar design: Fits around the propeller shaft and is secured in place.
• Mounting hardware: Supplied with stainless steel Allen head bolts for mounting.
• Cross-reference options: Many sizes replace comparable Camp and Martyr shaft zincs.
• Available in multiple shaft diameters: Choose the option that matches your shaft.

Check your shaft zinc regularly and replace it once it has eroded significantly. This keeps your boat's underwater metals protected from corrosion.
