Mirka Abranet Mesh Sanding Disc Grit Abrasives

Mirka Abranet mesh sanding discs are net-backed abrasives for dust-free sanding. They work with a compatible dust extraction system. The open mesh pattern pulls dust away from the surface through the whole disc. This keeps the work area cleaner and helps protect the finish while you sand. Abranet discs are also sold as Abranet sanding discs, mesh abrasive discs, or net sanding discs. They are used for sanding in automotive refinishing, bodywork, woodworking, and general surface preparation.

Key Features:

• Net-backed design: The woven mesh backing lets dust escape across the full abrasive surface.
• Dust-free sanding: Connect the disc to a dust extractor to cut airborne dust and keep the workpiece cleaner.
• Long service life: The open structure resists clogging. This helps the abrasive cut consistently and last longer.
• Cooler cutting: Constant dust removal reduces heat build-up and helps limit loading and pigtails.
• Hook-and-loop attachment: The discs attach to compatible hook-and-loop sanding pads for quick, secure changes.
• Multiple grits: A range of grit options covers coarse stock removal through fine finishing sanding.

Mirka is a Finnish maker of abrasives and sanding tools. Abranet discs are a common choice for professionals who want a consistent scratch pattern, less cleanup, and a cleaner shop environment. They suit many substrates, including paint, primer, filler, wood, and composites.
