ARP High Performance Cylinder Head Stud Kit Chrome Moly

The ARP High Performance Cylinder Head Stud Kit in Chrome Moly replaces factory head bolts with studs, giving you more even and consistent clamping force on the cylinder head and head gasket. The kits suit street performance, racing, and heavy-duty engine builds. You may also see them called head studs, cylinder head stud sets, or head bolt upgrade kits.

Key Features:

• Chrome moly construction: The studs are made from chrome moly alloy steel, which is strong and durable under high cylinder pressure and repeated heat cycles.
• Better clamping load: Studs are threaded into the block and are not twisted during installation. This reduces torsional stress on the fasteners and helps the head seat more accurately and evenly.
• Rolled threads: ARP rolls its threads after heat treatment. This improves fatigue strength and thread accuracy.
• Hardware included: Kits are supplied with the nuts and washers for installation, as ARP specifies for each part number.
• Gasket sealing: Consistent clamping force helps the head gasket seal, which is important in modified engines that make more power or run more boost.

ARP is a well-known American maker of high-performance fasteners, and its products are widely used in motorsports and performance engine building. Choose the specific part number for your engine application, and follow ARP's published assembly lubricant and torque instructions when installing.
