Scanstrut Vertical Cable Seal Black Waterproof Deck Seal Replacement Parts For Navigation Lights

The Scanstrut Vertical Cable Seal is a waterproof deck seal, also called a cable gland or cable pass-through. It gives antenna and navigation light cables a watertight way through the deck. It suits boat electronics installations and replacement of worn deck seals.

Key Features:

• IP68 watertight design: a closed-cell base seal and a tapered bung form the watertight seal.
• Dome-shaped profile: the low dome is impact-resistant and adds a further water shield over the cable entry.
• Easy installation: captive nuts in the base make assembly simple and allow reliable repeat installations.
• Pre-drilled and blank inner seals: these help with different cable setups. The split-seal option means you don't need to remove cable connectors.
• Durable construction: the seal is made from impact-resistant ASA plastic.
• Black finish with a vertical cable entry orientation.

Installation Note: The seals are designed for installation above the waterline only. For the best fit around a cable, Scanstrut advises drilling a blank bung 1-2 mm larger than the cable diameter.

Scanstrut backs this range with a 3-year warranty. It is a dependable choice for keeping water out of deck cable entries on powerboats and sailboats.
