Rapala Husky Magnum Trolling Lure Purple Mackerel

The Rapala Husky Magnum trolling lure is a heavy-duty, high-speed hard bait trolling plug. It is built for saltwater trolling and for battling large predatory fish. It is designed to swim at a set depth and run straight at speeds up to 12 knots. That lets you cover more water while trolling.

Key Features:

• Translucent body with an internal scale pattern and flash foil for a natural, lifelike look
• Distinct high-frequency internal rattle adds sound attraction
• Tight, strong rolling action
• Heavy-duty plastic body that holds up in a tough fight
• Heavy-duty through-wire construction
• 4X VMC Perma Steel treble hooks
• Slow-rising design
• Trolls at speeds up to 12 knots

The number in each model name shows the running depth when trolled with about 30 meters of line out. You can run the lure shallower by letting out less line. Thicker line has more resistance in the water and also reduces running depth. The Husky Magnum works well in an offshore trolling spread and for inshore gamefish.
