Ezy-Glide Ezy-Stik III Mechanical Stick Steering System with Cable

The Ezy-Glide Ezy-Stik III Model 870 mechanical stick steering system is a complete up-front boat steering kit for small to mid-size boats and skiffs. It is built for outboard motors up to 70 HP or jet drives up to 90 HP. A single lever puts the operator at the front of the boat for better visibility and easier control. The system uses a push-pull steering cable, so there is no hydraulic fluid to service.

Key Features:

• Quicker turning ratio than the Ezy-Stik II Model 840, for faster response and shorter lock-to-lock travel
• Steering ratio of 5.0:1, with total lever movement of 44.8 inches (161 degrees)
• One-piece stainless steel drive spool for durability and smooth operation
• Reinforced composite high-impact housing protects the internal components
• 16-inch steering lever
• Housing measures approximately 7.5 x 7.5 inches
• Designed to be mounted toward the port side

What's Included:

• Ezy-Stik III 870 steering helm
• Lever and hardware pack
• Steering cable

Application Note: Because 4-stroke engines send more negative torque feedback to the operator, the manufacturer does not recommend the Model 870 for 4-stroke engines over 40 HP. The Ezy-Stik II Model 840 is the better choice for those engines.

Ezy-Glide has built marine steering systems since 1981. The Ezy-Stik III gives boaters a simple, reliable mechanical steering setup with responsive control.
