Sea-Dog Line Asymmetrical Snap Hook with Eye Insert

The Sea-Dog Line Asymmetrical Snap Hook with Eye Insert is a marine-grade stainless steel snap hook (also called an asymmetric snap hook or carabiner-style snap) for attaching to lines. It suits safety harness tethers, fishing lines, mooring buoy lines and other rigging jobs aboard a boat.

Key Features:

• Asymmetrical design: The hook puts more of the load on the stronger, non-gate side. This gives higher breaking strength than a traditional rounded snap hook.
• Offset body style: The offset body gives greater gate clearance. The opening into the snap is larger, so it is easier to clip on.
• Eye insert: The insert gives a secure attachment point for line.
• Corrosion-resistant construction: The hook is formed from 316 stainless steel, which holds up in marine environments.

Sea-Dog Line makes marine, industrial and rigging hardware. This snap hook is a dependable connector for boaters and anglers who need strong, corrosion-resistant hardware.
