Bussmann Circuit Breaker 42V DC Waterproof

The Bussmann 42V DC waterproof circuit breaker (also called a high-amp Type III circuit breaker or switchable circuit breaker) protects auxiliary and accessory wiring from overloads. Bussmann CB185-series breakers are typically used in trucks, buses, RVs and marine applications. They can also protect battery charging circuits that use battery isolators in multi-battery installations.

Key Features:

• 42V DC rating for DC electrical systems
• Sealed waterproof housing for use in wet and harsh environments
• Manual reset with a push-to-trip button, so the breaker can also serve as a master disconnect
• Flush-mount design for a clean panel installation
• 1/4-28 threaded stud terminals with SEMS nuts installed
• Complies with SAE Standard J1117

Bussmann is a long-established name in circuit protection. This breaker line offers a reusable alternative to replacing blown fuses, and it makes it easy to de-energize a protected circuit when needed.
