SEM Products World Class DTM Primer Activator

The SEM Products World Class DTM Primer Activator is the catalyst (hardener) for SEM World Class DTM Primer. It is the second component that activates, strengthens and hardens the primer film. World Class DTM Primer is a direct-to-metal, 2.1 VOC compliant, two-component epoxy primer surfacer. It gives bare metal adhesion and filling in one product, so this activator is a required part of the system for automotive refinishing and restoration.

Key Features:

• Activator made specifically for SEM World Class DTM Primer
• Works with a 2.1 mixed VOC primer system
• The primer is lead and chromate free and non-isocyanate. It is designed to give bare metal adhesion and corrosion protection without a separate etch primer
• The primer adheres well to metal, fiberglass and aluminum
• The primer gives excellent corrosion control, builds quickly and sands easily
• The primer holds color well under topcoats and can be sprayed or rolled

Suitable Surfaces: The activated primer is intended for bare metal, sanded OEM finishes, body filler, polyester putty, SMC, fiberglass and gelcoat.

Always follow the SEM technical data sheet for mixing, reduction, pot life, application and drying. Use it as the hardener for a durable foundation under your topcoat.
