Ancor Marine Grade Heat Shrink Snap Plug 16-14 AWG

Ancor Marine Grade Heat Shrink Snap Plugs are insulated snap plug terminals (also called heat shrink snap connectors or quick-disconnect plugs). They give boat, RV and other wet-environment wiring a sealed, corrosion-resistant connection. The sleeve has built-in heat-activated adhesive. When heated, it shrinks and forms a watertight seal around the wire.

Key Features:

• Heat-activated adhesive lining: seals out salt water, oil, acids and sunlight, and adds strain relief at the connection.
• Cross-linked polyolefin tubing: stronger than PVC tubing and does not burn like PVC.
• High shrink ratio: shrinks to about one-third of its original size. Shrink temperature is 257°F (125°C).
• Wide operating temperature range: rated for service from -40°C to 110°C.
• Pure copper terminal: supports maximum current flow.
• Tinned finish: resists corrosion from salt and moisture.
• Brazed seam: adds strength to the terminal barrel.
• Certified: UL Listed and CSA Recognized.

These snap plugs suit marine electrical systems and other applications exposed to moisture, vibration and chemicals. Crimp the terminal to the wire, then apply heat to shrink the sleeve and activate the adhesive for a durable, weather-resistant connection.
