Pacer Performance Tinned Closed-End Ring Terminal

Pacer Performance Tinned Closed-End Ring Terminals (also called tinned closed-end lugs or battery lugs) give you a durable, long-lasting connection for marine, automotive, and other harsh-environment electrical systems. The barrel is closed at the end and has no exposed seams. This protects the wire in places where a standard open-barrel ring terminal doesn't offer enough protection.

Key Features:

• Tin-plated copper construction resists corrosion
• Made from seamless tubes of 99.9% copper for higher conductivity
• No exposed seams, so the terminal suits marine use
• Designed for stranded copper wire
• Larger pad area for better contact
• Cable size and stud hole size are stamped on the pad for easy identification
• Can be crimped or soldered
• Controlled flare lets the cable slide in easily
• Tight barrel-to-pad transition gives a longer usable barrel length
• Rated for 600V

Compliances:

• E.T.P. (Electrolytic Tough Pitch) CDA-110 copper
• ASTM-B-152 copper
• UL and CSA approved
• RoHS compliant
• Exceeds SAE conductivity standards J163 and J1811

Installation: Strip the wire to the proper length. Slide the lug over the exposed conductor so the insulation butts up against the edge of the lug. Crimp it with the correct tool. For a sealed, waterproof connection, add epoxy-lined heat shrink. It will fully cover the connection and leave nothing exposed to moisture.
