Pacer Performance Heat Shrink Tubing

Pacer Performance Heat Shrink Tubing is adhesive-lined, heavy-wall heat shrink tubing. It is made for sealing and insulating battery cable and wire connections, and it works well for marine, automotive, and RV electrical work. Each piece has a dual-purpose thermoplastic liner. When heated, the liner flows and encapsulates the connection. When it cools, the tubing gives the strength of a strong adhesive and the corrosion protection of a quality mastic.

Key Features:

• Heavy-wall construction with good insulating, abrasion-resisting and strain-relieving properties
• Highly abrasion- and impact-resistant
• Shrinks when heated above 120 °C (248 °F), so it is easy to install
• Thermoplastic liner adheres to PVC, neoprene, polyolefin, EPR, steel and aluminum
• Adhesive lining forms a barrier against contaminants
• Excellent resistance to acids and alkalis
• Good resistance to fuel, oil and solvents
• Meets MIL-I-23053/15 Class 2

Applications:

• Splice sealing
• Primary insulation
• Cable and jacket repair
• Direct burial and submersible use
• Strain relief

Choose a diameter that covers the components or connectors you need to protect. Wire insulation varies by type and diameter, so the right tubing size depends on your wire.
