Groco Bronze Full Flow 90 Degree Pipe to Hose Adapter

The Groco Bronze Full Flow 90 Degree Pipe to Hose Adapter, also called an FFC elbow or pipe-to-hose fitting, connects a hose to a valve, seacock, strainer, or any hardware with female NPT pipe threads. The 90° swept design keeps flow unrestricted through the fitting.

Key Features:

• Full flow design: The internal passage matches the full pipe size, so flow is not restricted. A standard pipe-to-hose adapter narrows the bore at the barb.
• Cast bronze construction: C83600 bronze for durability in marine plumbing.
• 90° curved (sweep) body: It turns the hose line smoothly and keeps flow capacity high.
• Male NPT x hose barb: Tapered male pipe threads on one end and a barbed hose connection on the other.
• Cast-in hex nut: Gives you a secure wrench grip when tightening.
• Double-clamp hose seating area: There is enough barb length to seat the hose and use two clamps.
• UL Listed 647B.

Because the bore runs full size, a full flow fitting takes the next larger hose size than a standard adapter. Check that this suits your application. The fittings have NPT (tapered) male threads and work with Groco seacocks and raw water strainers or any product with tapered female pipe thread. On straight NPS threads, use them only in low-pressure applications with a generous amount of pipe sealant or PTFE tape.

Note: C83600 bronze fittings do not comply with NSF-61. They are not intended for use in potable water systems.
