East Penn 14 Gauge Primary Wire 1000ft Spool

East Penn 14 gauge primary wire (also called GPT wire, automotive wire or general purpose wire) is a single-conductor stranded copper wire for low-voltage point-to-point wiring. It comes on a 1000 ft spool, which suits shops, installers and restorers who run a lot of wire. Use it in automotive, truck, trailer, tractor, marine and general-service wiring.

Key Features:

• Stranded copper conductor: Annealed copper strands give the flexibility needed for routing through tight spaces and around bends.
• Thermoplastic (PVC) insulation: The jacket resists grease, oil and acid. It is smooth enough to pull through loom or conduit.
• SAE rated: General purpose thermoplastic wire built to SAE J1128 specifications. It has an 80°C (176°F) temperature rating.
• RoHS compliant: Made in the USA by East Penn Manufacturing.
• Bulk spool packaging: The spool lets you cut the exact lengths you need for a job.

East Penn (Deka) makes its own wire and cable, from drawing the copper rod into strands to extruding the insulation. This 14 gauge primary wire is a dependable choice for harness repair, accessory wiring, lighting circuits and other general-purpose low-voltage installations.
