Polyform Low Drag Buoy

The Polyform Low Drag Buoy (LD-Series) is an inflatable pickup and marker buoy. It is made for jobs where the buoy is dragged, or hauled in and out of the water, again and again. Polyform introduced the patented low drag design to the commercial fishing industry in 1989. The shape and rib design cut drag and let the buoy skip along the surface during retrieval. That makes pot pickups faster and safer, with less strain on crew and gear.

Key Features:

• Low drag design: Reduces drag by as much as 80% compared to standard round buoys.
• Vinyl valve system: Polyform's valve helps the buoy hold its inflation.
• Durable construction: Even wall thickness adds strength and durability.
• Reinforced rope hold: The heavy-duty rope hold is built for repeated hauling.
• Rafting protection: Gives good fore and aft protection when buoys raft together.
• High visibility: Offered in bright, high-visibility colors that are easy to spot on the water.
• Made in the USA by Polyform.

The LD-Series is a good choice for offshore fishing, crab and trap marking, and other pickup or marker buoy work. Inflate it with a hand pump or compressed air. Polyform's inflation adapter is needed to use standard compressor nozzles or hand pumps.
