Interlux Paint VC Offshore Antifouling Bottom Paint 1 Gallon

Interlux VC Offshore is a hard vinyl antifouling bottom paint for racing sailboats, performance powerboats and other boats where speed matters. It combines fouling protection with a very smooth, low-friction hull surface, which makes it a popular racing bottom paint.

Key Features:

• Fluoro micro-additive formula dries to a hard, smooth, low-friction surface that can be burnished to a very low profile
• Polishes to a very hard finish for durability and less drag
• Suitable for fresh, salt and brackish water
• For use on fiberglass, wood and primed underwater metals (except aluminum)
• For use below the waterline only
• Single-component paint

Application Notes:

• Apply to clean, dry, properly prepared surfaces. Bare surfaces must be sanded.
• Do not apply over non-vinyl antifouling paints.
• Apply full coats, because thin coats can give a rougher surface and may lead to early fouling.
• For maximum smoothness, wet sand the cured final coat and burnish it. An extra coat is recommended if you plan to sand or burnish.
• VC Offshore has a limited out-of-water time, so it is generally not suited to trailered or rack-stored boats.

VC Offshore is built for boaters who want a slick, durable hull finish and effective antifouling protection for racing and high-performance use.
