Trident Hose SAE J1942 Marine Multipurpose Hose

Trident Hose SAE J1942 Marine Multipurpose Hose, also sold as Ocean-Flex 321 Series multi-purpose marine hose, is a wire-reinforced nitrile hose. It is made for both commercial and recreational vessels. One hose handles many onboard plumbing, fuel, exhaust and water jobs, so you can use the same product throughout the boat.

Key Features:

• Black nitrile tube and cover resist fuel, fire, heat, cold, ozone and aging
• Reinforced construction uses multiple textile spirals and a dual steel wire helix to help the hose hold its shape and bend well
• Temperature range of -20°F to 212°F (-29°C to 100°C)
• Meets SAE J1942 (Code F, VW, NVW), USCG Type A1, and USCG Inspected Vessels (Title 46 CFR Sub-Chap. T)
• Other listed standards include SAE J1527 A1 R2, SAE J2006 R2, SAE J20R2 B, SAE J20R4 B, SAE J20R5 B, SAE J30R5, ISO 7840 A1, ISO 8469 B1, ISO 13363 2B, ABYC H-22, H-24, H-33 P-1, P-4, and CE

Typical Applications:

• Fuel fill, feed and vent (diesel and gasoline, Type A1)
• Lube oil
• Wet exhaust
• Water, both vital and non-vital
• Bilge, coolant and drains
• Sanitation

This hose is a good choice for marine systems that need one flexible hose rated for many fluids. It suits USCG inspected commercial vessels that must comply with SAE J1942, and it also works for recreational boats.
