Samson Aluminum Splicing Fid

The Samson Aluminum Splicing Fid is a tubular fid, also called a splicing needle. It is made for splicing double braid rope. It opens the cover and core so you can make clean, strong splices in Class I double braid line, including olefin, polyester and nylon. It works with both natural and synthetic line.
