Product Details

Shields Hose Marine Type A1-15 Low Permeation Fuel Hose (Series 368) is a marine fuel feed hose for gasoline, diesel and biodiesel systems. It has a low permeation design that limits fuel loss through evaporation. Its working pressure is 100 PSI.

Key Features:

  • Low permeation construction: A plastic barrier veneer and an NBR outer layer tube limit fuel permeation.
  • Polyester reinforced: The reinforcement gives the hose strength under pressure.
  • Emissions compliant: Meets EPA and CARB very low permeation requirements.
  • Weather and UV resistant cover: The NBR/PVC cover is made for exposed marine environments.
  • Fuel compatibility: Suited to fuel feed use with gasoline, including blends up to 85% ethanol, and with diesel and all biodiesel blends.
  • Certified to marine standards: Meets USCG Type A1-15 requirements for pleasure boats, SAE J1527 Type A1-15 and ISO 7840 Type A1. It is also NMMA/CE type accepted.
  • Wide temperature range: Rated from -20°F to 212°F.
  • Flexible: Bends into a tight radius, which helps with routing in crowded engine compartments.

Use this hose for fuel feed lines on outboard, inboard and inboard/outdrive pleasure boats. It is intended for fuel feed only. It is not for fuel tank fill, fuel tank vent or oil tank fill applications.
