Boat Life LifeSeal Marine Sealant

Boat Life LifeSeal Marine Sealant is a one-part marine caulk that combines silicone and polyurethane. It is formulated especially for fiberglass. It makes a durable, permanent, watertight seal on boat decks, hulls, hardware and fittings. It is made in the USA.

Key Features:

• Unique marine silicone and polyurethane combination, formulated especially for fiberglass
• Fast-curing, low-odor, high-adhesion formula
• Non-sagging, so it stays put on vertical surfaces
• Non-yellowing and non-corrosive
• Mildew resistant and acid free
• Makes a permanent watertight seal that flexes with joints subject to structural movement
• Can be used above and below the waterline
• Cures in the presence of water
• Bonds to metal, glass, wood, Lexan, ABS and certain other materials
• Can be removed without damaging gel-coat

Common Applications:

• Sealing decks to hulls
• Thru-hull fittings
• Vinyl ports
• Sealing and glazing windshields
• Bedding marine hardware
• General marine maintenance and repairs

Limitations: Not recommended for ferro cement hulls or for oil-soaked or impregnated materials, or other materials that may bleed oil or solvents. Do not use it in totally confined spaces, because it needs atmospheric moisture to cure. Surfaces should be clean and free of oil before application. If painting is needed, paint before applying the sealant, or test the paint with the sealant first.
